The Jules Simon Park is the ideal place to appreciate the exhibition in the shade of the large trees, that is often welcome in June.
The park is divided into several different zones, and provides in addition a sheltered picnic area.
The entrance area is a welcoming space for exhibitors, press, schools, VIPs and visitors. The little shuttle train drops off the visitors coming from the Gem Zone near the entrance of the Park, and one of the biggest parking lots for visitors (P17) is located only a few steps away.
The upper part of the Park is a commercial area comprised of approximately 30 exhibitors specially selected for their skills, diversity and originality. These stands offer a vast choice of minerals, fossils, fancy stones, petrified wood or special equipment.
The lower part of the park is dedicated to cultural family activities, with over thirty workshops.
Associations in connection with earth sciences also have their stands in this area and provide information and activities.
