VISIT OF THE MINE GABE GOTTES

Accompanied by the Archéomine association guides, visit the gabe Gottes mine that was in activity from the mid 16th century until 1940 (silver and arsenic exploitation).
6 free tours are programmed the exhibition. Duration: 1 hour + 45 minute round trip. Boots, helmets and oilskin coats are provided. CAUTION: Temperature 12 °C in the mine.

Children will discover this old silver mine located within 100 m. of the event, and better understand child labor of the the 16th century.
ROUGH STONE CARVING WORKSHOP
Presented by Heinrich Zeitvogel

Mr. Zeitvogel will show every participant during this workshop how to cut, grind and polish a previously rough cut stone. Afterwards just pierce it and you will have a unique jewel.
THE MICRO LAB
This workshop is proposed and led by members of the French Association of micro mineralogy (AFM)

You will discover the fascinating world of the infinitely small through binocular loupes available for your use. The members of the association will be at your disposal and answer all your questions.
